- shallow container for paint
- cotton balls
- cotton swabs
- small piece of black fun foam
- glue
- markers
- black and white paint
- koala pattern
- 2 black mini pom-poms
- scissors
What You Do

STEP 1:
Download and Print the Pattern
Download and print the koala pattern. -
STEP 2:
Draw the Koala
Use the pattern to draw the koala outline on the construction paper. -
STEP 3:
Make the Paint
Put 2 teaspoons of black paint and 2 teaspoons of white paint in a container. (Do not mix the paint.) -
STEP 4:
Paint the Koala
Use cotton balls as paint brushes. Dab a little at a time to get a fuzzy gray color. Use the cotton swabs to spread the paint on the koala’s ears. Set aside to dry. -
STEP 5:
Add the Nose and Eyes
Cut an oval-shaped nose out of fun foam. Glue on the nose and then add pom-poms for eyes. -
STEP 6:
Create the Tree Branch
Use markers to color the tree branch.
