Use an egg carton to make this creepy creature of the night.
What You Need
- 1 piece of black construction paper
- 2 small black buttons
- 2 cups from an egg carton
- Glue
- 1 small scrap of red construction paper
- Scissors
- 1 piece of yarn (about 10 inches long)
What You Do
- Cut Out the Bat’s Wings
Cut out two wings (each about 4 1/2 inches long) from black construction paper. - Glue Wings On
Glue the wings on to the outside rim of one egg cup. Glue one end of yarn onto the inside of the same egg cup. - Let Wings and Yarn Dry
Let the wings and yarn dry for 30 minutes. - Complete Bat’s Body
Glue the rim of the second cup onto the rim of the first cup to complete the bat’s body. Let dry an hour. - Add Eyes and Mouth
Glue on button eyes and a red paper mouth. Let dry 15 minutes. Hang your bat by the yarn.
