Watch your fridge burst into bloom with flowers made from recycled plastic caps!
What You Need
- About 33 small plastic bottle caps
- About 2 medium-sized plastic caps or lids
- 80 clear adhesive or glue dots (1/2 inch in diameter and 1/8 inch thick; 3D, high-tack kind)
- One old 45 rpm phonograph record (found at flea markets or antique stores) or a lid from a plastic container of ice cream. For a smaller flower, use an old CD.
- Several small magnets (about 6; available in craft stores)
What You Do
- Prepare the record or CD
Attach the magnets to the back of the record with a few glue dots.
- Design your flower
Create a design with the caps on the front side of the record.
- Make the flower petals
Attach the caps to the record—or to each other, as shown—with glue dots.
