What You Do
- Draw Chart

Help your child to compare his or her “wing speed” with the speeds of two real birds by asking:-
- Look at the numbers in the chart. Who can flap the most times while I count to 2?
- Who is the fastest flapper on the chart?
- Who flaps the least amount of times?
- Who is the slowest flapper?
Tell your child that hummingbirds flap their wings so fast that it’s hard to see their wings.
