Make hot or frozen cocoa to enjoy in hot or cold weather.
What You Need
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 ½ cups light cream
- 2 ½ cups milk
- Pinch of salt
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
What You Do
- Combine Dry Ingredients
Combine the cocoa, sugar and salt.
- Stir In Milk and Heat
Stir in milk and heat until the ingredients are all dissolved.
- Add Remaining Ingredients
Add cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well.
- For Hot Cocoa
Heat until warm. Do not boil. Pour into your child’s favorite cup and make sure it is cool enough for him/her to sip.
- For Frozen Cocoa
Pour hot chocolate into a sealable container.
Freeze for about 5 hours. You may freeze the mixture and scoop it out like ice cream or place it into individual popsicle containers or an ice cube tray.
