What You Need

• glue stick
• hole punch
• markers and crayons
• star pattern
• scissors
• stickers, photos, and magazines
• yarn

What You Do

1. Download and Print the Pattern
   Download and print the star pattern.
2. Cut Out Stars
   Use the star pattern to cut several stars out of construction paper.
3. Decorate Stars
   Decorate each star with a photo, sticker, or drawing, illustrating something you love about your mom. Then complete the sentence, “My Mom ________.”
4. Make a Cover Star
   Make a star that says “My Mom Is a Star!” Put this star on top of the others. Use the punch to make a hole through all of the stars.
5. Tie Stars Together
   Thread a piece of yarn through each hole. Tie a knot to hold the stars together.
