This paper plate owl will love hanging out in your room.
What You Need
- colored felt or paper
- glue
- brown paint
- paintbrush
- 4 paper plates
- scissors
- stapler
- yarn
What You Do
- Make the Owl’s Body
Face two paper plates, backsides out. Staple the rims together.
- Make the Wings
To make each wing, bend (don’t crease) another paper plate in half and staple it along the rim. Staple each wing near the top of the owl’s body.
- Make the Head
For the head, fold over about one-third of a plate and staple it. Staple the head to the body.
- Paint Owl
Paint the owl brown.
- Add Eyes and Beak
Glue on felt or paper eyes and a beak.
- Attach Yarn
Slip a piece of yarn under the fold in the head. Knot the ends together to make a hanger. Hang your owl where you can watch it watch you!
