“Gourd” morning! This pumpkin-packed smoothie is a tasty way to start your day!
What You Need
- 1 small banana, sliced and then frozen
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- ¼ cup canned pumpkin
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ½ to 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (adjust to taste)
What You Do
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Pour smoothie into a cup and serve immediately
Makes one drink.
BAT STRAW
What You Need
- bat pattern
- black construction paper
- tracing paper (optional)
- pencil
- scissors
- reusable or paper drinking straw
What You Do
- Fold a piece of black construction paper in half. Trace or draw the bat pattern onto the folded paper, as shown.
- Keeping the paper folded in half, cut out the bat shape. Then cut on the two dotted lines.
- Open the bat and poke your straw through the pop-up flap on the bat’s back.
