Veggie Scarecrow

This scarecrow won’t frighten away any birds, but it will make a fun, healthy snack for your child!

What You Need

  • 1 grated carrot
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 slice of American cheese
  • 1 cucumber slice
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 1 red pepper

What You Do

  1. Make the Scarecrow Body:
    • Lay two celery stalks across each other on a plate.
    • Roll up each slice of ham and use them for legs.
    • Cut the cheese slice into the shape of a shirt and lay it over the celery.
  2. Create the Head.
    Place a cucumber slice above the celery stalk for the head.
  3. Add Finishing Touches.
    • Use grated carrot pieces for hands, feet, hair and mouth.
    • Cut off the stem of a red pepper and use it for the hat.
    • Add small pieces of red pepper for eyes.
