Fast and Fierce

By

Raptors were meat-eating dinosaurs that walked on two legs. They all had feathers, and they all had one special long claw on each of their feet. They were fast, fierce hunters! Raptors lived all over the world. Some were as small as crows. Others were the size of dogs. Some were as big as grizzly bears!

Dino Nickname

The name scientists use for raptors is dromaeosaurs (droh-MAY-uh-sawrs). They were nicknamed “raptors” after the movie Jurassic Park came out.

What would happen if one of those claws scratched you?

I’d be dino-sore!
