Although the bald eagle has made a remarkable comeback, it is important to keep trash—such as fishing wire and hooks, tires, and household garbage—off the land and out of local waterways. Pollution is a real threat for the bald eagle and other species. Encourage your family, classmates, and friends to join a local clean-up effort.
