Dear Parents and Guardians:
When you share Ranger Rick Jr. with your child this month, you’ll learn all about moose—one of the largest animals in North America. As you read the article on pages 6–11, help your child relate the moose facts to something in his or her life. Doing this helps children remember what they’ve learned. Here are a few suggestions:
After learning about moose, turn to pages 24–25 and have fun taking a moose quiz. Ask your child to point to the answer for each of the seven questions. If your child doesn’t know an answer, look back at pages 6–11. (You can find answers to the quiz on page 3.)
