  • Both male and female muskoxen have curly horns and shaggy coats.
  • It gets very cold and windy where muskoxen live. Their shaggy coats keep them warm and dry.
  • Muskoxen live in groups called herds. Most herds have 10 to 20 animals in them. They are safer living together.
