Make Trail Mix

This easy-to-make snack is great for refueling during a hike or after a long day playing around the campsite.

What You Need

  • 4 cups O-shaped cereal
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup nuts (peanuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, or a mixture)
  • sealable plastic bags
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup dried apricots

What You Do

  • STEP 1: Mix Ingredients

    Measure all the ingredients and mix them together in a bowl.

  • STEP 2: DIVIDE MIXTURE

    Divide the mixture into serving-size portions and put in sealable plastic bags.

     

    Makes 14 half-cup servings.
