By

Seals don’t spend all their time in the sea. They leave the water to find mates, give birth, and raise their young. Sometimes they just like to rest on the rocks and get warm in the sun!

wet/dry
How many seals can you find that are wet? How many seals can you count that are dry? Can you point to a bird that is dry? Do you think the fish would prefer to be wet or dry?

Did you know?
When seals gather in a large group on land, it’s called a rookery.
