Ranger Rick Zoobooks Zooworks Contest Deadlines: Send an original poem or drawing about zebras by March 16, 2026. Winning entries will be chosen to appear on the special Zooworks page printed inside the Ranger Rick Zoobooks Zebras issue in July/August 2026.
We are also accepting original poems or drawings about lions, which should be submitted by May 4, 2026. Winning entries will be chosen to appear on the special Zooworks page printed inside the Ranger Rick Zoobooks Lions issue in September 2026.
Submission Rules
- Stories & poems must be less than 100 words.
- Drawings must be on solid white paper (no lines).
- Only images in JPG format will be accepted.
