What You Need
- pine cone
- autumn leaves
- googly eyes
- round tree nut (such as an acorn or a hickory nut)
- yellow felt
- red felt
- craft glue
- hot glue (optional)
What You Do

STEP 1:
To create the turkey’s tail, glue leaves to the bottom of the pine cone, as shown.

STEP 2:
Cut a triangle bill from yellow felt, and a snood from red felt. Glue these shapes and the googly eyes onto the nut to create the turkey’s head.

STEP 3:
Glue the turkey’s head onto the pine-cone body.
(You can use hot glue instead of craft or Tacky glue for this step. The glue will dry much quicker—but ask an adult for help.)
