This no-bake snack, made with cornflakes and peanut butter, is a crunchy, sweet treat.
What You Need
- 3 cups cornflakes
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/8 cup sugar
What You Do
- Boil Corn Syrup and Sugar
Pour the corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir and boil for about 2 minutes.-
- Tip: Do not over boil the corn syrup and sugar. The longer the sugar mixture cooks, the harder the cookies will be when they cool.
-
- Add Peanut Butter and Cornflakes
Stir in the peanut butter and remove from the heat. Stir in the cornflakes until they are evenly coated. - Cool Mixture
Cool the mixture until it is slightly warm to touch. - Make Crunchers and Let Set
Scoop out spoonfuls and drop them on a piece of waxed paper. You can also try molding them with your hands. Ideally, let the cookies set for several hours or overnight so they are not so sticky.
