Painting can be tons of fun with a little help from this blue elephant!

What You Need

• Craft glue
• 2 googly eyes
• Silver craft paint and paint brush or silver marking pen
• Elephant armband pattern
• Pencil
• Large sheet of blue poster board
• Scissors

What You Do

1. Download and Print the Pattern
   Download and print the elephant armband pattern.
2. Cut Out Elephant Templates
   Cut out the three elephant templates, place them on blue poster board, and cut around the outlines. Now you have three blue poster-board shapes.
3. Draw Elephant’s Face
   On the elephant’s face, use a silver marking pen or craft paint to draw the elephant’s eyebrows, trunk, and tusks as shown. Glue wiggle eyes in place.
4. Make the Armband
   Adjust the armband to fit securely around your child’s arm. Glue in place. Then glue the armband onto the back of the poster-board face.
5. Draw Elephant’s Ears
   Outline the elephant ears with a silver marking pen or craft paint. Glue the poster-board armband onto the center of the poster-board ears.
6. Wear Your Armband
   Slide the armband up your arm and paint as an elephant would!
