Make an adorable animal pouch to store coins and other treasures.

What You Need

• Pouch Pals pattern
• 2 sheets of felt (brown or blue, depending on which animal you make)
• sheet of black felt
• yard of yarn (color should match the felt)
• 2 googly eyes or small black pom-poms
• small strip of Velcro
• scissors
• fabric glue
• darning needle

What You Do

1. Download and Print the Pattern
   Download and print the pattern.
2. Cut Out Felt
   Use the patterns to cut the pieces out of the felt.
3. Stick Pouch Together
   Lay the front of the pouch on top of the back of the pouch. Stitch together with yarn (as shown on pattern).
4. Add Ears and Handle
   Stitch the ears to the head (as shown on the pattern). Then stitch the two arms together to make a handle.
5. Add Nose and Eyes
   Glue the nose and eyes onto the animal’s face.
6. Attach Velcro
   Lift the flap to attach the Velcro® to close the pouch.
