Your friends will be tickled pink when you give them flamingo valentine cards!

What You Need
- pink construction paper
- pink feathers
- craft glue
- black marker
- pink pipe cleaners (1 thick and 2 thin)
- scissors
- small wiggle eye
What You Do
- Cut out the shapes.
Cut out two matching heart shapes for the body and one bill shape from pink construction paper. - Create the neck and feathers.
Bend the thick pipe cleaner into an “S” shape to form the flamingo’s neck. Glue the pipe cleaner to the left side of one heart. Attach feathers to the right side. - Make the legs.
For the legs, arrange two thin pipe cleaners at the bottom of the heart and glue in place. Bend them to make the legs. - Finish the body.
Glue the second heart directly on top of the first heart. This will cover the glued ends of the pipe cleaners and feathers. - Make the head.
For the head, color the tip of the bill black, as shown. Glue on a wiggle eye. Then glue the bill to the end of the neck. - Write a valentine message on your card. You can use the ones below or create your own flamingo lingo!
