These snowmen won’t melt when temperatures rise!
Craft by Katie Greuel
What You Need
- colored markers
- white paint
- 9 smooth rocks, various sizes
What You Do
- Collect rocks.
Collect different sized rocks that are smooth and a bit flat on the bottom. Wash the rocks with soapy water. Set aside to dry. - Paint the rocks.
Paint the tops of all the rocks with white paint to make “snowballs.” Let dry completely. (You may need to apply two or three coats of paint.) - Sort and decorate.
Sort the “snowballs” into three sizes: heads, middles, and bottoms.
Decorate the “snowballs” with the colored markers. Draw faces and hats on the heads; buttons, scarves, and mittens on the middles; and boots or feet on the bottoms. - Arrange the rocks.
Put the “snowballs” together to make snowmen.
Swap the “snowballs” to make fun combinations!
