Make a foam owl to decorate your door.
What You Need
- orange and brown fun foam
- pre-cut fun foam “door hanger” (or make your own out of a sheet of fun foam)
- black and tan felt
- glue
- 2 googly eyes
- marker
- pattern
- scissors
What You Do
- Download and Print the Pattern
Download and print the owl door hanger pattern.
- Cut Out Pattern
Using the pattern, cut the owl’s body, head, and wings out of fun foam. Cut the other shapes shown on the pattern out of felt.
- Glue On Body and Wings
Glue orange body to the door hanger. Then glue the wings on top of the body and the head above the body.
- Add Eyes, Beak, Ears, and Feet
Glue felt eye circles and googly eyes on head. Glue on black felt triangles for beak and ear tuffs. Glue on tan felt feet.
- Add Speech Bubble
Cut a “speech bubble” out of craft foam. Write the question “Whoooo’s there?” on it and glue it beside the owl’s bill.
