- Cut Out Egg
Fold the sheet of card stock in half. Using the pattern, cut out an egg shape, making sure the fold is on one side of the egg. (When you open the fold, you should have two eggs that are stuck together.)
- Make a Hinge
Cut two zigzag lines into the fold side of the eggs. (See pattern.) Push the cut piece in to create a hinge for your eggs.
- Make an Animal to Hatch From Egg
Use cardboard and art supplies to make an animal that hatches from an egg. Tape the back of the animal to the top of the hinge inside the egg. When you open the egg, you’ll see who’s hatching!
