Use paper cups and other household supplies to make animal noses.
What You Need
- yarn
- paper cups
- pink duct tape or pink paper (for the pig)
- pipe cleaners (for the mole)
- tan duct tape or tan paper (for the mole)
- silver duct tape (for the elephant)
- newspaper (for the elephant)
What You Do
-
- Elephant Nose
- Wad up two sheets of newspaper and twist into the shape of an elephant’s trunk. Then wrap strips of silver duct tape around the newspaper.
- Cover the cup with duct tape.
- Cut a large “X” in the bottom of the cup. Push the trunk into the opening and tape into place.
- Attach a 12″ piece of yarn to both sides of the cup.
- Pig Nose
- Cover the cup with pink duct tape or pink paper.
- Cut two holes in the bottom of the cup.
- Attach a 12″ piece of yarn to both sides of the cup.
- Mole Nose
- Cover the cup with tan duct tape or tan paper. Cut two holes in the bottom of the cup about 3/4″ apart.
- Cut two pipe cleaners in half. Thread them through the two holes so that they stick out the bottom of the cup.
- Bend the pipe cleaners to look like the “fingers” on a mole’s nose.
- Attach a 12″ piece of yarn to both sides of the cup.
