Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

“Gourd” morning! This pumpkin-packed smoothie is a tasty way to start your day!

What You Need

  • 1 small banana, sliced and then frozen
  •  2⁄3 cup milk
  •  ¼ cup canned pumpkin
  •  1 tablespoon maple syrup
  •  ½ to 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (adjust to taste)

What You Do

  1.  Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2.  Pour smoothie into a cup and serve immediately

Makes one drink.



What You Need

  • bat pattern
  •  black construction paper
  •  tracing paper (optional)
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • reusable or paper drinking straw

What You Do

  1. Fold a piece of black construction paper in half. Trace or draw the bat pattern onto the folded paper, as shown.
  2. Keeping the paper folded in half, cut out the bat shape. Then cut on the two dotted lines.
  3. Open the bat and poke your straw through the pop-up flap on the bat’s back.
