Turn simple shapes into a cardinal stick puppet.

What You Need

• Craft stick
• Crayons or markers
• Glue
• Googly eye
• Cardinal pattern
• Scissors

What You Do

1. Download and Print the Pattern
   Download and print the shapely cardinal pattern.
   
   
2. Color and Cut Out Shapes
   • Color one small triangle orange. Color three small triangles black. Color the circle, oval and two other triangles red.
   • Cut out all the shapes.
3. Assemble Cardinal
   • Glue the beak, mask, and crest onto the head. Glue the head, wing and feet onto the body.
   • Draw the feathers on the wing and crest.
   • Glue a googly eye on the cardinal’s head.
   • Glue the cardinal to a craft stick.
