Turn a wooden spoon into a playful puppet.
What You Need
- bunny poem pattern
- wooden spoon
- large white pom-pom
- small bright pink pom-pom
- white felt
- 2 medium light pink pom-poms
- 2 fluffy white pipe cleaners
- 2 googly eyes
- brown paper lunch-bag
- glue
What You Do
- Glue On Ears.
Twist pipe cleaners into ears and glue onto the back of the spoon. - Make Bunny’s Head and Face.
Glue large pom-pom onto the back of the spoon to make the bunny’s head. Glue on smaller pom-poms and googly eyes to make the bunny’s face. Add a piece of white felt for the bunny’s teeth. - Cut Paper Bag.
Cut an oval in the bottom of the paper bag. Cut 3–4″ off the top of the bag. Turn the bag upside down. - Glue On Poem.
Download the Bunny Poem Pattern. Cut out the poem and glue it onto the front of the paper bag.
- Play With Your Puppet.
Place the bunny puppet through the hole in the bag. Move the puppet up and down as directed by the poem.
