➡️ Harvest mice are tiny. One is smaller than an adult’s thumb and weighs less than a pencil.
➡️ Harvest mice use their mouths and feet to weave nests out of grasses.
➡️ Harvest mice climb to find food. They eat seeds, berries, and insects.
➡️ Newborn harvest mice are blind and helpless. But they grow quickly.
➡️ Within two weeks, the baby mice are playing outside the nest.
➡️ Sometimes a mouse mom will move her babies to a new nest. She carries them one at a time.
➡️ Soon, the tiny mice will be living on their own in the fields.
