CELEBRATE FORESTS ON WORLD WILDLIFE DAY 2021!

At Ranger Rick, we celebrate wildlife every day. But today, the whole world is celebrating with us! In 2013, the United Nations named March 3 as World Wildlife Day. This year, World Wildlife Day is focused on the important role forests play for wildlife AND people.

Forests around the world are in trouble. People have cut down much of the world’s forests to build houses and businesses or to plant crops and raise livestock. Want to learn more about the wild animals we are protecting when we save forestland?
