Paradise flying snakes don’t really fly. They glide, a bit like flying squirrels. As they launch, they flatten their bodies and sort of slither through the air. They can travel as fast as 33 feet per second, and go as far as 300 feet. Watch for them if you’re ever in the jungles of South or Southeast Asia!
