Cornflake Crunchers

This no-bake snack, made with cornflakes and peanut butter, is a crunchy, sweet treat.

What You Need

  • 3 cups cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/8 cup sugar

What You Do

  1. Boil Corn Syrup and Sugar
    Pour the corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir and boil for about 2 minutes.

      • Tip: Do not over boil the corn syrup and sugar. The longer the sugar mixture cooks, the harder the cookies will be when they cool.
  2. Add Peanut Butter and Cornflakes
    Stir in the peanut butter and remove from the heat. Stir in the cornflakes until they are evenly coated.
  3. Cool Mixture
    Cool the mixture until it is slightly warm to touch.
  4. Make Crunchers and Let Set
    Scoop out spoonfuls and drop them on a piece of waxed paper. You can also try molding them with your hands. Ideally, let the cookies set for several hours or overnight so they are not so sticky.
