Decorate wooden eggs to make a springtime zoo!

WHAT YOU NEED

• wood eggs (available at craft stores)
• craft paint
• pom poms
• googly eyes
• craft glue
• construction paper
• craft foam (for the lion)
• black marker

WHAT YOU DO

FOR THE ZEBRA:

1. Paint the egg white.
2. Once the paint dries, use a black marker to draw stripes.
3. Cut out an oval-shaped nose and a fringe mane from black construction paper. Cut out two triangle-shaped ears from white paper.
4. Glue the ears, mane, nose, and googly eyes on the egg.
5. Paint on white nostrils and a mouth, as shown.
6. Draw black triangles on the ears, as shown.

FOR THE KOALA:

1. Paint the egg beige.
2. Cut out an oval-shaped nose from black construction paper.
3. Once the paint has dried, glue on the nose, two pom-pom ears, and two googly eyes.
4. Draw a mouth with a black marker.

FOR THE PANDA:

1. Paint the egg white.
2. Cut out two oval-shaped eye patches from black construction paper.
3. Once the paint has dried, glue on the eye patches, two pom-pom ears, and two googly eyes.
4. Draw a nose and mouth with a black marker, as shown.

FOR THE LION:

1. Paint the egg yellow.
2. Cut out an oval-shaped fringe mane from orange craft foam. (Orange construction paper is OK, too.)
3. Once the paint has dried, glue on the mane, two pom-pom ears, and two googly eyes.
4. Draw a nose and mouth with a black marker, as shown.

FOR THE TIGER:

1. Paint the egg orange.
2. Once the paint dries, use a black marker to draw stripes.
3. Cut out an oval-shape snout from white construction paper and glue in place, as shown.
4. Glue on the two pom-pom ears and two googly eyes.
5. Draw a nose and mouth with black marker.
