Put on a penguin puppet performance with this paper bag craft.
What You Need
- Black, white, and yellow construction paper
- Glue
- Small paper bag
- Scissors
What You Do
- Cut Out Shapes for Penguin
You will need one black circle for the penguin’s head, one large black oval and one slightly smaller white oval for the body, three yellow triangles for the feet and beak, two small white circles for the eyes, and two medium sized black ovals for the arms. - Glue Shapes Onto Bag
If your child is ready to glue these pieces onto the paper bag, you can help him or her create their puppet. If your child is too young, glue on the pieces yourself. - Play With Your Puppet
You can make up a penguin story and have your child act it out. If you make two puppets, you and your child can play together with the puppets and have a penguin conversation.
