
Turn a spider plant into a scary Halloween decoration.
What You Need
- Craft glue
- 8 googly eyes
- Black acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- 8 black, bumpy pipe cleaners found in craft stores)
- Potted spider plant (container should be a simple clay pot)
What You Do
- Paint Pot
Paint a thick, black ring around the top and bottom of the clay pot. Paint vertical stripes down its sides. Let dry. - Add Spider Legs
Stick eight bumpy chenille stems into the potted soil. Space the stems so that they encircle the plant. Then bend the stems as shown to look like spider legs. - Add Eyes
In a small area on the outside rim of the pot, glue on eight wiggly eyes.
