➡️  A bobbit worm looks like a giant centipede. It attacks its prey with its scissor-like jaws.

➡️  A handfish doesn’t swim. This tiny fish “walks” along the seafloor on its hand-like fins.

➡️  A wobbegong (WOH-buh-gong) shark is known as a carpet shark. It hangs out on the ocean floor and sucks in fish like a vacuum cleaner.

➡️  A wolf eel has a big head and a long, snake-like body. It uses its powerful bite to eat crunchy sea creatures.

➡️  A stargazer buries itself in the sand to trick prey into coming close to its wiggling tongue.

➡️  A giant spider crab crawls across the seafloor on its long, skinny legs. One of this crab’s legs can be almost as long as two yardsticks. The crab’s legs never stop growing!

➡️  A barreleye fish has a see-through head. What looks like eyes are really its nostrils. The green globes inside its head are its eyes.

➡️  A helmet jellyfish lives deep in the ocean. It flashes bright blue to tell other sea creatures to back off.

➡️  A sea lamprey has a snake-like body and a suction-cup mouth full of teeth. It attaches itself to other fish to eat them.

➡️  A female anglerfish has a built-in “fishing pole” on her head. When another fish comes near the “bait,” the anglerfish gobbles it up.
